Transparency and Immutability

All data and publications are stored immutably and transparently, ensuring research integrity.

Open Access

We democratize access to scientific knowledge by providing free and openly accessible publications.

Copyright Management

Through smart contracts, we ensure that researchers are properly credited and fairly compensated for their work.

Cost Reduction

By eliminating traditional intermediaries, we make scientific publishing more accessible and affordable.

Jérémy Corriger

An immuno-allergologist with around thirty publications, Jérémy brings medical expertise and a deep understanding of the current challenges in scientific publishing.

Pol Reitz

A project manager at INRS, Pol is a passionate advocate for open science and open access. He believes blockchain can revolutionize how scientific data is shared and validated.

Pierre-Jean Morieux

An independent developer, Pierre-Jean is the technical architect of LibScience. He joined the team to define the platform’s operating principles and the benefits it offers to users.

LibScience was born from the desire to give researchers control over their own publications. Traditionally, scientific papers are published in specialized journals owned by publishers, leading to high financial costs and ethical concerns. In 2021, Jérémy and Pol began exploring potential solutions to overcome these challenges. They quickly became interested in the possibilities offered by blockchain technology, a decentralized system for storing and transmitting information.

Pierre-Jean later joined them to help define the core operating principles of LibScience and the benefits it could provide. Together, they designed a platform that not only reduces publishing costs but also rewards users, reviewers, and supervisors with digital assets, creating a virtuous circular economy.

LibScience introduces a new paradigm for scientific publishing, grounded in the principles of open science and open access. By leveraging blockchain technology, we ensure transparency, traceability, and data permanence. Researchers retain full intellectual property rights over their work, and research governance is returned to the scientific community itself.
